There has been a rise in anti-Asian hate crimes in Washington state and across the country since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

In this episode, KING 5 anchor Jessica Janner Castro has a conversation with Rahul Gupta, education and tours director at the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience. The museum is located in the heart of Seattle’s Chinatown-International District.

 

Gupta shared how the museum creates educational content for schools and how its mission is to change the minds of its visitors: to make them more open, interested and willing to learn.
